Hey guys - Posting up to let everyone know about a race a friend of mine is putting together in Lockwood, Missouri (near Springfield)...
November 9th, 2013
2 hour format, woods race.. The course is a 5 mile loop. Entry fee is $100 and there is a cash payout.
More info on their site.. They used to hold mud runs on this property, it evolved into jeep trails and hare scrambles for dirtbikes.. This is the first time racint UTV's on the property and it should be great. We have a pretty good size group coming down from the Kansas City area. There will be on-site primitive camping available. I helped clear trees/trails and do some general trail maintenance a few weeks ago and this is going to be a great course. Perfect combination of high speed wide open, technical woods, rocks and a couple climbs in the mix.
