For those who are on the fence post about this series, it is time to get off.
FIRST: Racing in Rocky Point years ago was a blast and this series has brought it back to life. Starting on the pavement downtown is AWESOME. Right in front of the police station with locals and visitors lining the streets to watch.
SECOND: The terrain is so varied it is unbelievable. Fast graded roads, sandy whoop sections, rocky mtn. areas and twisty sand washes. Perfect place to get that car out of mothballs and enjoy a GREAT race course.
THIRD: The people of Rocky Point are huge supporters of these events. No one will throw rocks or snakes into your car. The children think you are a rock star and love to look at the cars/trucks.
FOURTH: Competition! All types of vehicles come down and race. Trophy trucks/class 1's down to stock bugs. I even saw two guys in a newer grand cherokee running the course and loving it.
FIFTH: Post race parties. Several good local bars and the awards ceremony brings everyone together at one place to bench race and tell lies.
EVERYONE should seriously consider the next race in May. Help support a growing promoter and enjoy a little racing South of the border.

First, I want to publicly thank everyone that came out again for the Sand Storm 300 back in March, it is extremely gratifying to see all the enthusiasm from those who just entered there very first race, and then all the hard core desert veterans.
I lost track of how many times we where told after the race "that course Todd put together was the best damn race course we have run in over 20 years" and we can't wait for the Tequiola 125 event. The entire SADR wants everyone to know we appreciate all the support from everyone.
The Tequila race course is 150 miles of haul ass, always-on-the-pedal, up-on-the-wheel racing from the green light to the finsh! Once agin everyone will get to parade into town, start on the pavement and finish on the beach!
If your sick and tired of racing thru rocks the size of small condo's, almost destroying your race car, then spitting Nevada's dust for a week. Maybe your tired of spending a small fortune on prep, entry fees, trackers / transponders, fuel and lodging.
