RuggedRadios
Official UTVUnderground Communications Sponsor
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA - JANUARY 16, 2013
Rugged Radios announces a $1000 payout to each overall winner of the 2013 King of the Hammers Everyman Challenge, UTV, and King of the Hammers Race.
Greg Cottrell, owner of Rugged Radios stated "We're excited to be a part of one of the biggest race events out there. The teams, the commitment and the drive it takes to be here is remarkable and we just want to support everyone."
Since last year's King of the Hammers, Rugged has been working with additional teams and drivers around the country in preparation for this year's ultimate event in Johnson Valley.
Greg said, "Communications are both a safety issue and a critical component to race strategy. Our goal is, and always has been, to make sure everyone is connected with clear and reliable communications. That's why we offer free tech support and radio tuning no matter who's communication equipment you're using."
Staged in Hammertown, Rugged Radios will be providing communications and assisting any and all teams and drivers with unmatched support, knowledge and expertise. From handheld radios to complete in-car systems, Rugged Radios will be fully staffed day and night to provide the best in service.
In order to qualify for the prize money, the vehicles must run (2) unobstructed Rugged Radios stickers on the vehicle — one on each side. Stickers are included in the team contingency packs and can also be picked up at Rugged Radios vending location.
