RONNIE ANDERSON PUTS THE ACE 570 ON TOP
Polaris ACE 570 ready for battle.
Riverside California
Walker Evans spent some time getting their Polaris ACE 570 dialed in for the rough track in Primm. Ronnie did some testing in the desert and was feeling really good with how the ACE was handling. The upgrades to the shocks made the ACE feel like a new machine.
Ronnie gets air whenever he can.
The ACE 570 is a new platform for Polaris. Very little is available via the aftermarket so everything is new and unproven. Walker Evans built a set of shocks and spent a while getting them working good on this machine. The limited wheel travel makes the shocks that much more critical.
When the green flag dropped Ronnie checked up into turn 1. Shaw pulled a slight lead but Ronnie was hot on his tail. Coming into the rough section of the course the Walker Evans shocks did their job. Ronnie was able to edge out Shaw and drive the ACE to its first win of the season.

3rd out of the gate in his XP1000 Ronnie was feeling good and pushing hard. In the middle of lap 2 a rear axle let go. Trying to stay at race pace he kept pushing but soon after the transmission let go. The crew at Walker will get it fixed and ready for the UTV World Championship race in Laughlin next week.
