Rhino in 2wd or 4wd in the sand dunes?

Hey there, I'm somewhat new to utvs but I bought on a couple weeks ago
07 rhino special edition 660
Is it bad to run around in the dunes in 4wd or sometimes locked? I have paddles in the rear and regular tires in the front. Everything completely stock except for the long travel.

Run it in 4wd it will help you get up the dunes and keep you rolling. I ran my rhino in 4wd even after I built up the motor.

Ok thanks I just didn't know if that was bad for it or over working the drivetrain system in it

You will not hurt anything running in 4wd. In my new ride I still run in 4wd in the dunes.
