02/02/15 El Cajon, CA- Racer X Motorsports sponsored athlete Katie Vernola will be in Johnson Valley, CA this week for the event that started it all, the 8th running of the Griffin King of the Hammers presented by Nitto Tire. Katie will race the Polaris RZR KOH UTV Race Presented by HCR on Wednesday, February 4th. Katie spent a couple days last week pre-running last year’s course before heading home to the OC to make adjustments and prep for this week’s race.
Katie Vernola is 23 years old and from Victorville, CA. Katie now resides in San Clemente, CA and began racing when she was 20.
