Front Lower Chassis Brace

Racer Tech’s version of the very necessary front lower chassis brace. This brace bolts in directly above the front differential connecting the frame at the points the upper arm is normally relied on to hold together. This brace allows the arms to do their job of pivoting like they should and takes tons of stress off the chassis since it holds the frame together much better. From the factory, the upper A-arms are required to hold this section of the chassis together when bolted on. A general rule of thumb in any type of chassis building is to never require a suspension component to double as a structural asset to the design. This plate fixes this. There a lot of other companies making this same product already but ours are stronger. Notice the bent edges and dimple died holes added in to substantially increase rigidity while remaining light weight. NOTE: if you already have a winch mounting plate above your front differential there is no need to use this part. Brace comes powdercoated in your choice of color below.

Weld-in Chassis Gusset Kit
rzr-wld-guswshr.jpg

Racer Tech’s weld-in chassis gusset kit for the RZR or RZR S. This is the most comprehensive kit you will find, and at the best price! We’ve been racing the RZR since they day they came out. We’ve found the weak points, and we know how to fix them, PERIOD. This kit, when combined with our other bolt-on gusset kits, takes care of everything you need to make your RZR race ready. Kit is priced WITHOUT weld washers for the A-arm pivot points. If you want these washers, you have two choices. The FLAT weld washer upgrade is the easiest upgrade to complete. These are flat laser cut parts you can weld on to your pivot points on the chassis. The flat washer kit is a simple job to install if you’re welding the rest of the kit in. The FLAT washers are shown in the item image. The STEPPED washer kit is a machined 4130 chromoly part which makes the actual shear surface one continuous diameter. This is ideal but most likely only for the very serious racers. To complete this installation you need a 5/8†extra-long drill bit to ream the original holes in the chassis oversize. Please select your options below. Feel free to call or email with questions. NOTE: All kits come complete with some gussets which may not be needed on newer generation RZR’s and/or the RZR S.

RZR A-Pillar Brace

Racer Tech’s final piece of the puzzle. With this A-Pillar Brace you can now finish completely reinforcing your RZR or RZR S chassis. This brace uses one factory hole and the chassis to locate itself. There is some drilling required. The Racer Tech A-Pillar Brace is a perfect addition to our Front Cage Mounts or our Rigid Mount Front Bumper. All pieces are design to work together as one, providing strength the factory could have only dreamed of. These A-Pillar braces also double as a great mud shield to save you a lot of cleaning after a dirty ride. They are designed to fill in the large area of the tub under the hood where mud tends to build up while riding.

There is an extremely weak point in the OEM chassis which we've found can bend easily in a harder roll-over. It’s the point directly below the dash bar found under the hood plastic. This bar has a tube welded to it which runs down to the base of the chassis. This small square tube is what is supposed to hold the dash bar up in the event of a crash but the issue is it has a sharp bend in it which creates a very weak point susceptible to bending. The other issue is the tube is inset over 6" inward from the point of pressure delivered by the roll cage pillars (which the roll cage bolts to). The Racer Tech APB's are designed to fully tie this area together by triangulating it with an extremely light weight but effective bracket which is designed and built in-house.

Here are our new RZR Chassis Sleeves.

The Racer Tech RZR Chassis Sleeves are designed to be pounded into the rear of the frame, just ahead of the rear wheels, in the open rectangle shaped tubing left open from the factory. These are a tight but perfect fit to stiffen a crucial point of your RZR's chassis.

They are as easy to install as you want them to be; They are a tight enough fit you could almost beat them in with a dead-blow hammer and call it a day but we recommend at least welding the supplied flat caps on the ends of the chassis tubes to lock the sleeves in place and be sure they never move again. There are points defined in the included instructions as well which lay out optional drilling locations in which you can choose to drill through the frame tube after the sleeves is in place and fasten bolts through the tube and the sleeves. Or, you can use our "preferred" method and pre-drill the holes through the outer wall of the chassis tube and after driving the sleeves in use a welder to plug-weld the sleeves in place along the length of the tube for ultimate rigidity. Any way they are installed, they are a huge benefit to the safety and longevity of the factory chassis life expectancy.

This kit includes (2) Chassis Sleeves, (2) Weld-in end caps and instructions.
