Well, after I got the R1 engine started I realized I wasn't going to have the time, or sufficient tools for that matter, to finish this project myself. So I ended up taking it to a local fabricator to finish up the metal work. Dustin at Meyer Chassis in Murrieta, Ca. has been working on my four seat Rhino. Here are some pics of the shifter, which turned out really nice. The mechanism moves very smoothly and creates lots of leverage for easy shifts.
Here are some pictures showing how he's widening the sides to allow for the Corbeau seats that are going in. I don't know how obvious it is, but he also repositioned the lower support for the middle top cage mount (hope that makes sense). I also really liked the new step. Tell me what you think.
