Yamaha Piston??

Couple of dez trips back my wifes car started having a real blow by issuie. Made enough of a mess I bought a siphon break to install but today I tought Id pop the top end to see if there were any other problems.

The piston is exactly as it came off, what ya think?

Mine did the same thing.....Would heat have anything to do with it I wonder? I know I was running mine real hot and lean due to a bad Exhaust leak

Ring gaps, should have taken the pic when I pulled the cylinder off but they were perfectly lined up, cant ever remember seeing that before.

Combustion pressure takes the path of least resistance, through the lined up end gaps, combined w/ blow by contributes to excess crankcase pressure, and oils my airfilter for me.
