Yamaha Overheating Issues

Start with cleaning the radiator real good make sure all the fins are clean and there is nothing in there. Then make sure the fan is coming on. If there was a recent engine rebuild or for some reason the radiator was drained then the system needs to be bleeded. There is a brass phillips screw head on top of the water pump. While the rhino is running open the screw until all the air purges out of the system it may help to jack the front of the car up. Try all this then let us know! hope this helps.

I have yet to see a thermostat in 660 rhinos.

check to see if water is moving when cold, keep cap open for this. if not, the tang that feeds the water pump broke off.

bleed system like mentioned, but it is up on the outlet water neck near driver, not down on the water pump. 8 or 10mm wrench I believe

head gasket is possible

fan not coming on is possible
