Any updates on what might have happened to 1971 Wyane Matlock the new Jimco RZR?

Yeah we had some bad overheating issues and we're unable to push the car very hard at all. We were moving up then blew another belt. Then at race mile 234 we got a rock stuck between the belly pan and the oil pan and the oil pan lost the battle. The car in general worked awesome and once we get it dialed in it will be a whole lot of fun.

I saw Mike & Jan Julson on Sunday and he asked me if I knew how you guys did. Niether of us were at the race. Then I got to show him the first pics of the Lofton #41 TT after the accident. Not pretty! But Justin & LJ are OK.

The way that truck parked on the side of the track it must have been a long wild ride.

Any updates on what might have happened to 1971 Wyane Matlock the new Jimco RZR?

I believe they had a rock get wedged between the skip plate and motor which eventually crack the case and lost all the motor oil. It was close to the finish some where when it gave up the ghost. They already have it tore down and prepping for the Baja 500.
