I am considering this tire but I can't seem to find any reviews on it storm at no limit stated that the 30x10x14 only weighs 33lbs so it has peaked my interested. I'm trying to decide between these or maxxis liberty

Depending on what kind of terrain you mainly ride in that should be a easy decision. The Liberty will work much better in the hard pack and the Patriot will work better in soft terrain.

We have a bit of everything where i ride in idaho ,from sand to rocks to mud.

Also been lookin into the tusk terrabite looks to be similar to the mongrels and tensor and also is fairly light in weight

Personally I think the Liberty is much better all around tire.

I am curious to see some feedback on the Terrabite too. They are priced right. How much do they weigh?

From what rocky Mountain atv told me yesterday they are 33lbs for the 30x10x14

this is the only thing I've found on the tusk other than reading some responses on the other forums. Everyone had good things to say about them for the short time they have had terrabites

They look pretty solid. The video said 35.7 lbs in a 30/10r14 so right there with the new 10 ply Mongrel and the Ultracross. I'd like to see a 31 or a 32.

Time will tell I'm a newbie to the utvs so I'm still learning. I am thinking I should stay with a lighter tire to keep my rotating mass down so I don't start losing on the performance end however I don't much care for the performance on the stock tires for where just ride either

I've already decided on the wheels gonna go with the method 401 beadlocks in a 5x2 offset all the way around since they are strong and light weight and are reasonable
In cost compared to the hikers or off

I agree on keeping the weight to a minimum. My setup should be pretty close to stock rear wheel and tire but I haven't taken the time to weigh one yet.
