Vision X Extends Optimus Series With E-Mark Approved LED Halo Ring
Multiple Vehicle Specific Kits Available With The Optimus Halo
December 23rd, 2014 Auburn, WA – Today, Vision X Lighting is excited to announce a new addition to the Optimus family, the Optimus Halo. Available in both 3.7" Round and 3.0" Square housings with a 15° beam pattern (E-Mark Approved), these LED Pods feature the same specifications as the original Optimus, however they have a bright LED Halo around the outer edge of the reflector. These powerful LED Pods utilize a high-strength trunnion mount that takes advantage of a single-bolt mounting system for universal applications.
The Halo LED is powered from a separate wire than the main LED, meaning the Halo can be wired to be used as daytime running lights, additional indicator lights, parking lights and more. Drawing power from a 10-Watt Single-Source LED, the Optimus Halo LED Pods each produce 1,052 raw lumens.
The Optimus Halo Series also features a unique 15° Beam Pattern that maintains the long distance of a spot beam while filling in crucial side areas. Additionally, the Optimus Halo has been E-Mark approved and is ready to be used on the road in Europe.
The Optimus Halo Round LED Pods have the option to add a Poly Carbonate Cover that changes the beam pattern as well as the colors, making the Pod have the ability to become 20 different lights in one. Both the Square and Round Optimus Halo Pods are also sold as a kit with two lights, a wiring harness and installation instructions.
Vehicle Specific Lighting Upgrade Kits – Since the Optimus Series from Vision X Lighting has been expanded with the addition of the Halo models, we've updated our Vehicle Specific Kits to include the option for an Optimus Halo. Currently, fog light kits are available for 2013+ Jeep JK-X, 2009-2007 and 2010-12 Jeep JK, 2010+ Ford Raptor, and 2009-13 Dodge Rams. There is also an A-Pillar kit available for 2007+ Jeep JK models. Each of these kits come with no-drill brackets and appropriate mounting hardware.
