Here's Racer Tech solution to the weak base tubes of the OEM chassis. It takes a little bit to bend these but we've managed to do it a few times. Whether it's a hard crash, roll, hard poundings in the whoops or going through rocks and rough terrain, the factory chassis uses VERY thin wall tubes. The Racer Tech Chassis Sleeves only add 8 lbs. to your machine and their weight in gold in strength improvements.
The Racer Tech RZR Chassis Sleeves are designed to be pounded into the rear of the frame, just ahead of the rear wheels, in the open rectangle shaped tubing left open from the factory. These are a tight but perfect fit to stiffen a crucial point of your RZR's chassis.
They are as easy to install as you want them to be; They are a tight enough fit you could almost beat them in with a dead-blow hammer and call it a day but we recommend at least welding the supplied flat caps on the ends of the chassis tubes to lock the sleeves in place and be sure they never move again. There are points defined in the included instructions as well which lay out optional drilling locations in which you can choose to drill through the frame tube after the sleeve is in place and fasten bolts through the tube and the sleeve. Or, you can use our "preferred" method and pre-drill the holes through the outer wall of the chassis tube and after driving the sleeves in use a welder to plug-weld the sleeves in place along the length of the tube for ultimate rigidity. Any way they are installed, they are a huge benefit to the safety and longevity of the factory chassis life expectancy.
This kit includes (2) Chassis Sleeves, (2) Weld-in end caps and instructions.
Also here's a quick pic of what we'll be releasing here shortly. A steering quickner kit for all RZR models.
If you got any questions hit me up Thanks!
