New race team from AZ, Mertens Motorsports.

Well as the title says, we are starting a new race team Mertens Motorsports. We are based out of Tempe AZ.
We are currently building a 2013 Maverick 1000 XRS that use to be Gil Flores's old WORCs car.

We have just about finished up installing a Racer Tech long travel kit. Then its time for all the electronics and goodies and hope to get the car over to Shock Therapy to have the shocks re-tuned to match the new suspension.

We have all raced for several years in the desert from old class cars, dirt bikes, and quad. We ran the old Whiplash series, Pismo Beach races and Lake Elsinore. But with age comes cage and the UTV classes just really got us excited and ready to race again. The current plan is to get the car back together and hope to have our first race in Sept with AZOP in Prescott AZ. We will get the car dialed in over the next several months, and work on getting it to pass BITD tech and race that series as well as the local AZOP series. Well here are a few pictures of our car and wish us luck!!

Yeah he did get another one. Thanks and we will have a lot of learning but plan on having another competitive Maverick on the courses! Thats a nice car Rockstarcustomz. What are the details on it?

We build our own cars here so it's chromoly from the the frame up, all custom aluminum interior, LSR arms, Radflo shocks, Muzzy exhaust, Stm secondary clutch. Strong running car. We would like to get $18000 for it. PS it's no longer pink, its white

It has custom remote reservoir Radflo shocks all around, it now has Raceline Mamba wheels and Arison 30" tires, front sway bar and Eric rebuilt the rear upper a-arms making them 9 lbs lighter than the LSR that was on there. Call or text me if you want more photos or info 928.230.1155
