I have a RZR jagged x edition iv decided I wanted to get into racing with it what all do I need to make it race worthy thank you very much.

put some nets in there, bolt the doors closed and sign up. the jagged x cars are bitchin, and work great stock. what kind of racing are you planning on doing and where are you located as far as series involvement. Your definitely in the best place for that question but give us some more input...

You just need a rear facing amber light to cut threw your dust, so up coming cars can see you and not run you over. As far as window nets you need to have window nets that go from the bottom of your door all the way up to your roof so your hands and arms don't fly out during a crash.

DON'T YOU HAVE TO HAVE A BLUE LIGHT? I THINK JAGGED X CARRIES THE LIGHTS.

I guess it really only depends on the series and what there rules are. The blue rear facing light stands for a slow car. I race the ave pure series in cal city and the rule book only says amber. Some people have blue too but it's not a must.

Find a series you want to race then get the rules for your class. Then build the car to meet the rules.

^^^^^^^^^What he said. Figure out the series you plan to run in then check their rules. Most desert racing run off similar rules...mostly safety equiptment. IE window nets, rear facing lights, securely mounted seats, 5 point harness
's and such. Your JX model is a good start.

Go to this site: www.averacing.com and then download the current Competition Rules, which will give you a pretty good idea as to what you'll need. We will be amending a couple of rules for the 2014 season but these will work well for you at this point and time.
