Here's a quality install guide from the friendly people over at MTX audio for their Wakeboard speaker and MUD100.2 two-channel amp. They offer a nice step by step to help make doing an audio install less intimidating.

As for the amp itself, it seems to be a very high quality piece. It is a class D amplifier so it should be very stable and have excellent thermal efficiency, not to mention that it is very water resistant. The internal circuit board is conformal coated to resist moisture and every amplifier includes a weather shielded pigtail to keep your install wires clean and safe from the elements. I'm thinking of using one of these babies on a pit box speaker system I've been dreaming up!
