Sorry to hear about the hood Tom. Now it's a good excuse to get one of then fancy carbon fiber hoods.

i have made a few aluminum panels that pop in there, via dzus buttons, it seems that those things fly off all the time

I just bought a hood saver from Dragonfire racing to keep mine from flying off. That thing fits so much tighter now, makes me feel a little bit better about it not flying off anymore.
