Hey guys, I'm gonna be staged to leave at 9:00AM on Saturday. I'm gonna make it a speed run from Miller around and up the black diamond trail by the damn then to the Pinnicals and to Deep Creek and charge back. I'll probably stop at Pinnacles and again at Deep Creek for a beverage and haul ass back and head out. I figure I should be back and loading up by 12PM or close to it. So if you are short on time or have other plans this may be an option for you if you can keep up the pace

OOPS, OK saturday the 7th.day of the ride.
Yup it's still on and trail time is 9am .This is the map that always seem to do the trick and the sign for the turn to the staging area and it always seem that some one is meeting up at the chevron right when you get of the 15.You do need a wilderness pass ,I think they are $5.00a day and you can get them at the chevron when you get off the 15, I have a year pass and one day pass just in case some one needs it.Also the last trip the ranger checked are green stickers, he was nice about it.ANY more ????? post up. The ride is normally under50 miles extra gas is always nice to have just in case, I always carry a extra 3 gallons.Hope this helps.My ph# is (626)255-2907

Ya me to I did't know it was mothers day my bad, Will flip a coin or somthing
it really don't matter front or back as long every body is safe and has a good time the la famlia way. Let's talk trails, I was thinking the trails moss was doing and throw in a deep creak kinda thing, but I'm good for all.I understand that why I didn't suggest the waterfall run , so deep creak & devils hole and not the diamond loop trail to the lake?

I'm in for a long, slow ride to take in the fresh air and enjoy some fun riding. Anyone camping up there Friday night? I'm thinking about coming in Friday night, but I've never been there before. I might be bringing a buddy with a Teryx too, if I can talk him into it.

Likewise. I went on one of the Miller Canyon runs led by Papa Bear last year as well. Good times and better people.
