Curious if any others have this issue and what the most likely cause is. i suspect slack in the throttle cable but that doesn't account or the reported speed. I recently had a nice long (1.5 mile) straight, smooth, slightly down hill, road to put my foot i to my new XP on. It shot out of the hole way better than my old S modl RZR. At about 65 on the speedo it started to stop accelerating. It then inched past 65-66-67-68 up to 70. I could not break 70 on the speedo.... I then checked my trusty Garmin 60Csx which is very accurate, and it showed a top speed of 64.9 mph. My old RZR-S would register 64 on the gps and speedo. So I have some bugs to work out. What is the likely cause of the speedo being off by 4 mph (stock wheel size), and why am I not hitting 74mph? This is a new RZR, with stock belt with less than 100 miles. At 64.9 would I be generating 4mph of rear wheel spin on hardpack going slightly downhill? I also notice the snappy response of my friends bone stock 2011 XP is much snappier from a dead stop the 2013. It appears that Polaris added a new clutch limiting spacer in 2013 on the micro fiche drawing shown as item 23.... Could this be the cause?
