I'd say the can am is Def faster, but it also Def jumped before the rzr. Also it looks like they are racing up hill which is probably suited better for the torque that the turbo produces. ...

I'm thinking the the new clutch system is working good to by the way that sucker pulled. The guy driving the Mav is heavier than the XP guy right. Lol.

If that wasnt a Jump your sir are blind as shit. Either way the canned ham should be faster with the turbo. It'd make a fun duner if they would put some real shocks and suspension on it and stop trying to use Rhino shocks.
Thats my point Hehehehehe. LMFAO still. It wouldn't matter if the Mav gave the XP a head start. Ray Charles could see that the Ass kicking was so bad that it didn't matter enough to even argue about it. Now had it been a 1/2 a car length at the end yeah it might matter.
Doesn't really matter what motor or power adder is involved now since this is a Race Between the Big 2 manufacturers and those happen to be the Best machines each one happens to Produce for the Public to buy. Now it's kinda like Polaris bringing Knife to a Gun Fight. And stock Polaris suspension is not all that great either and Polaris shocks leave a lot to be desired stock.

Haha you said Rhino shocks. Can Am still using suspension from 2005! LOL!
It will be a screamer in the dunes, if the suspension can keep up.

Depends on where you ride in the dunes. So areas are fairly smooth and others are torn up from the big sandrails and more traffic.

Faster you go the smoother they are. Driving a popo xp is going to be like driving a piece of plywood with wheels on it compared to the Maverick!

BTW thats my Turbo Maverick in the race.. SDR guys were having some fun.. NOT ME DRIVING JUST TO BE CLEAR AND WAS DONE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION..

This thread will surely be entertaining to watch. Can-Am guys have something to cheer about but at the end of the day, who really cares about drag racing?? I mean, I guess a few of you get off on HP #s and who can be the fastest up Olds and yada yada yada yada..
Guess what, I'll drive an ACE 570 with you turbo RZR and Maverick guys and keep up just fine and have as much fun as anyone. Thats what this is all about at the end of the day. So before you all get all bonered up over a black top, up hill, drag race, remember, its about riding and having fun..

A Rhino can hang with most group rides since you can cut corners and Bowls lol.
On a 3 or 4 car ride the lesser powered cars gonna struggle to keep up. is it Possible hang yep. Is it as fun yep. God dang Golf Carts were a blast and I look back and Kinda Miss the stupid fun those things were in a group ride. We used to dune those Carts from gecko thru the big dunes at night and that would be a long ass night ride trying to find the lines for those Turds and rolling them and all of the cool crashes. Oh well all good things must end.

If I put on my self serving hat for a minute... I am so stoked Can-Am did this. Its another shot fired in the battle that is UTV Sport Supremacy. This industry, UTVUG included, benefit tremendously knowing that the sport is continuing to grow. Every new machine is like job security. As long as OEM's keep pushing one another and continue to innovate and release new products I will be able to keep living out my dream of working in a sport and job that I love. Not to mention, its pretty bad ass that I am lucky enough to get to play with these things early. With that said, if any of you have questions on details of the machine let me know. My Turbo went from SDR today to Madigans for new suspension... not wasting any time on this one..
You Maverick guys crack me up. If I was you I would be hoping for Can am to come out with a real race inspired v twin with a good set of heads instead of just turboing the same old utilty quad motor that has been around forever. It wouldn't take much to make that Popo outrun the Mav.
