I'd like to take my dad out to Borrego Springs to shoot some photos of the different scenes and animals out there. Instead of hiking like he usually does I'd like to take him on a trip in a UTV. I had one lined up through a company called Glamis ATV Rentals based out of Pacific Beach, CA but the guy has flaked on me and will not respond to my calls anymore. So I'm assuming that the Rhino rental is no longer available through them.
Thought I'd post up and see if anyone was looking to make a couple extra bucks this weekend by renting me their Rhino or other similar UTV for the day. We won't be mashing on it, just cruising trails and shooting photographs. Stock width would be preferred so we can fit it in the bed of my Chevy 2500, but I'm going to have to find some long and strong ramps to pull that one off.
I have a 24' enclosed trailer I could tow it out with as well, but that's a whole lot of space taken up by a very tiny vehicle so I'd like to fit it in the bed or use a smaller trailer that accompanies the UTV if possible.
Let me know what you guys got! I was going to pay the Glamis ATV Rental place in PB $385 for a full day's rent along with a $500 deposit. I do not want to go above that price but I'd gladly be willing to rent something for a lower offer
