Look before you leap......

Jon Crowley (CROWDOG) just posted this up from Dunefest...

The guy on this ATV flew over a dune and crashed pretty hard. There are big drop-offs so look before you leap! And if you are jumping, make sure you have a spotter.

Wow I hope he's is ok. Spotters are for sure needed and in my opinion you should know the spotter. I made the mistake of not knowing my spotter once. I ended up landing on a woman and her quad off an 60 footer in Glamis a few years back. I landed dead center across her bars. We were both ok but I can’t say the same for her quad. Needles to say spotters are very important.

yup dunes can be dangerous. never go straight over a ridge unless u know!
