KOH Here I Come - UTVUnderground Approved
I had the opportunity to steal the Villipoto T4 from Long Travel Ind. a few weeks ago and have some fun with it out in Parker, Arizona. I told the guys at LTI I would post something on the forums about the car for them so here it goes…
Other than cruising the pits at races, I haven't had much seat time in the newer T4 platform so I was pretty excited to put some miles on it. The T4's as most of us know, are not built specifically for us sport guys to jump 100 ft nor do they come stock with a 100hp; however, I ended up being pretty impressed with how rad this car is, having essentially only a suspension upgrade. If you can't tell from the Monster sticker's and dub edition wheels, LTI did not build this car on the basis of hauling hay or playing king of the mountain, although it is deeply rooted in the car. So I figured this little rig would be all show and no go, like your typical underpowered Rhino, considering the T4's completely stock motor and me potentially loading the back seat, full limo style with buddies and whatever chicks we won't find.
Be that as it may, this UTV turned out to be no Club Car. It may not out drag your buddy in his 110 hp sport SXS and yes he still might throw his empties at you but the T4 is a killer! The suspension was unreal, LTI's kit comes with King shocks that are specifically valved and sprung for the T4, making each click in the shock adjustment super responsive. I had it fully loaded with people, threw a couple of clicks in the rear shocks, and boom the farm quad turned into a full-on whoop skipper. Motor wise the car is all torque and definitely not a speed demon but I was really impressed with the type of power and how the car was actually able to move out of it's own way while riding solo and under a load.
I think one of the key element's to the T4 that I noticed right away is how solid the car is. You can be miles from home and not have to feel like your driving a potato chip that could break or bend at any moment, something that I get when driving most of today's sport SXS's. The stock T4 even aloud me sort of release-the-kraken with my right foot, throwing the car into a hole or nudge a rock, all with complete confidence. No doubt you could easily Muzzify the thing and turn it into the little dragster it seems most people are looking (I checked and there is room for a V8 and possibly a blower under the hood).
My cousin is in video production and brought out his Red cam which is just nuts of a camera, the contraption looks like it could potentially be the cure to cancer. Anyway, we managed to get a couple of shots of the car along with my buddy spitting some beer? All of the footage was captured in slow motion so here is my attempt at adjusting the speed and throwing the clips together to some Sabbath.
