Lets talk about the mav max

Ok so people love the xp 4 for desert racing. That's where my question starts. Is the maverick max going to get the same treatment? Is the frame tougher than the Xp on the max or do you really need to beef it up to really beat on it and air it out. I'm on the fence about getting a max and I will be beating on it pretty good at the dunes desert and Moab rocks thanks in advance

i went to my local dealer and checked one out last weekend and it is very well built and probably the best interior out of the two. im 6'5" 250 and fit easily and comfortably in the back. also in person it dosent look as long as in all the pictures. the frame what i have seen looks alot stronger. the wild cat 4 is also very nice and with the new X 4 will probably be a even race between the three. im waiting to see if xp4 1000 is coming.

To be honest I would be SHOCKED if no one built one out to race. The added wheel base should SOAK the whoops up and having put some time in it the thing rips. Yeah, its long, but it doesn't feel that long when you are driving it.

The max frame is tough. Pretty sure it will do well in the desert. If i were a betting man i would be willing to bet you may see one out there soon racing.

Is that a hint Derek? You guys are rockin it reppin can am and the mav. Joey great write up.. I'll have to go check them out.. My next question is would the guys that have an xp4 or max buy one again if you knew the rear seats weren't going to be used more than a couple months out of the year. Or would you go two seater with a rear cage seat... Fatrod style. My kids are 6 and 3

I don't know about your Kids but mine keep eating and growing like crazy so I would say get the 4 seater.
