Minneapolis, December 8, 2010–The "Trans West Ford Henderson 250" marked the final race for the 2010 Best In The Desert racing season. Lots of energy surrounded this race as many of the class championships were to be decided on the outcome, including the 1900 Pro UTV Championship.

Coming into this race, there were four teams with a real chance to become the UTV Class Champions for 2010. Playing out all of the different scenarios on paper meant nothing once the flag dropped on Saturday morning as more than a dozen of the best-built UTVs in the world headed off into the desert to settle the score. The Jagged X Polaris RANGER RZR S 800 left the line in the sixth starting position and had only gone a few miles before encountering a small fuel issue which forced the team to pull over and remedy the problem, losing nearly 10 minutes of valuable time.

Once they were back on course, Brandon Schueler wasted no time working his way back to the front of the pack. By the end the first lap the Jagged X No. 1919 car was running in the fifth spot and Schueler was able to battle his way to a third place finish securing the points championship for the 2010 season.

“2010 has been a very challenging season for the No. 1919 Jagged X/Polaris Racing Team,” said Bill Schueler of Jagged X. “After the loss of our primary car at the Silver State 300, it has been very exciting to be able to battle back to win another championship.”

“We congratulate Jagged X on their fourth Best in the Desert championship,” said Craig Scanlon, director of Marketing and Sales for Polaris’ Off-Road Vehicles Division. “The team overcame a very difficult season but prevailed due to their incredible dedication to the program.”

Jagged X is sponsored by Polaris Industries, MTA West, Elka Suspension, CR Designs, S&S Off Road, Simpson Products, ATL Fuel Systems, Tire Balls, Vision X Off Road, OMF Performance, Affordable Powder Coat, Robby Gordon Off Road, Trophy Engineering.

This is a huge accomplishment from comming back with a new car and still being able to keep the lead! CONGRATS TO THE WHOLE JAGGED X RACING TEAM FOR A HUGE CHAMPIONSHIP! i WATCHED YOU GUYS RACE ALL SEASON AND YOU GUYS ARE FIRST CLASS!

Thanks to everyone. I know it's been stressful for Brandon and Justin, and I really commend them for keeping it together after the Silverstate disaster. I feel really fortunate that they keep me around.:D
It was a close season points wise from the start and was really exciting going into the last race. Huge congrats to Murray's on their great first full season, I'm not sure if it's just me, but those guys absolutely define what desert racing is all about! I'm absolutely positive no one is having more fun than those guys through this whole thing, so, it's really been a pleasure having you guys around this year.
It was challenging for alot of teams, and I think this coming year will be truly monumental. There are a number of teams that are really "getting it together", and I have a feeling it's going to be a VERY tight season in 2011. Jerome and Rito have a bunch of confidence after making us all look stupid (I'm really only speaking for us:D), so they'll be a force I'm sure. Murray's will have a full season of experience under their belt, so I'm sure they'll only get better this coming year. Rumors swirl about new builds, new vehicles available, etc....so this one should be truly epic imho.
Best of luck to everyone in the coming year and I can only hope to be able to type up similar b.s. next year...I have a felling it'll be tougher than ever!:D Just remember to keep it on four wheels and keep the fire extinguishers handy!!!

Way to go. I am looking forward to racing this next season with you guys. My teryx will be done this week so hopefully you don't pass me in the first two miles like you did at the Henderson in our backup rhino. It was everything I could do to get out of your way in time. When will you guys start running the new Polaris motor? I would expect you to already have one or be the first to get it.

A fourpeat is almost a legacy. Congrats and see you in Januyary.

congrats to that hole team and family. I think you guys did something great winning 4 consecutive titles in a row. that has to be record in the desert. I would say in racing but that damn jimmy johnson just topped that one. Thanks again for all the help you guys gave us if it wasn't for you guys our season would of been ruined.

Mike, thanks for posting up. Congrats on the season.

Are you guys going to race KOH again this year?

Congratulations on a great season! We are looking forward to chasing you through the desert again next year. See you in Parker!:D

Errrrrrrrr.....ummmmmmmmmm......maybe?:D I think that whole having RV's driving on course during the race, complete confusion regarding where the course is, GPS download being WAY off course, no course markers for miles, ZERO rock trails, etc. put a serious damper on the event for me. I'm an avid rockcrawler and was really dissapointed with the "attitude" towards our race, so I really personally have no desire to run it this year...but that's just my opinion...and I'm just dead weight.:p Brandon, Bill, and Justin will make that call...I'm just voicing my personal opinion which should not be confused with the "official stance" of JaggedX.:D

I hear you on not enough rocks last year. There are supposed to be two rock trails this year. Could be good!
