ISA rules for KOH?

I have a couple quick questions for Mike, Jeff, and anyone in the know.

Last year at tech it was said that a first aid kit, and orange safety triangles were required. I cannot find this verbiage in the rule book? Maybe I'm blind..... Any other odds and ends we're required to carry?

Also, what exactly constitutes a modification to fuel system? Are we talking physical modifications from stock? A fuel programmer wouldnt be considered a "fuel system modification" right?

Thanks guys

I think first aid kit was under general rule not class break down, and road triangle was under "Long desert style race". I dont think a fuel prog. would be classified as changing the OEM fuel system but thats a question for Mike, Jeff OR someone else from ISA

FYI best way to get hold of mike or Jeff right now is to give them a ring. They haven't been on the forums much lately. I'll have them check in and try and answer your questions for you.

if you are using a fuel tuner that plugs into the electrical side of the injector and does not modify the injector or fuel lines going to the injector you are fine. For example a Digitune from Muzzys does not constitute a modification of a fuel system. Modifying the fuel system would be moving the fuel tank location, adding a pressure regulator, etc...

For your breakdown device and first aid kits please refer to section 10.5 through 10.10.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Mike

The $30 for the non resident permit would be cheep insurance for a LEO that doesn't know the difference between a race UTV and standard UTV.

Good stuff right there. Head to wrecking ball and let the guy in front go first and follow his line. Don't get to close to the driver in front of you so you can use other options and pass!
