Yamaha installing a stereo

I have a 2008 Rhino with complete apline deck and complete speaker and amp from Black Rhino Performance with aux battery, I've been ask if i have used toggle switches for stereo what would be the reason for using toggle switches.

The only thing i can think of is it would allow you to remove power from the radio without turning the Rhino off. May come in handy if the radio gets wet and you loose control of its functions.

Also, if you run it off a toggle to the battery you can use the stereo when parked without running up hours on the Rhino.
