So a couple weeks ago I hooked up with my buddy Fish from Race-Dezert.com to head on up to the UTVUnderground sponsored race team shop of Funco Motorsports. Many know that Funco is one of the pioneering off road companies in the industry. Founder Gil George is an off road hall of fame inductee and developed some of the first dune buggies to ever be sold as race and play cars. The Funco family has raced in everything from Baja, Desert, Mickey Thompson Short Course, CORR, Lucas Oil, and many many more. Today Funco continues to develop some of the most state of the art sand rails and race cars money can buy. 3rd generation Funco racer Chad George continues the family tradition along with cousins Garret and Taylor racing in UTV, Buggy, and truck classes. Chad is competing for his 5th strait championship in the Unlimited UTV class and is also going after a championship in the Super-Lite division for which he challenged for last year as well at Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.
So anyway, here are a few shop pics I snapped while we were photographing the ENZO and Chad's Monster Energy Kawasaki Teryx race car which will become the FIRST UTV ever featured on Race-Dezert.com!!!!!
