Factory UTV Racers dominate 2014 King of the Hammers
(Sacramento Ca February 18th 2014) - Factory UTV racers dominated 2014 King of the Hammers UTV races held at Johnson Valley OHV park in Southern California. Generally regarded as the "Toughest 1 day UTV race in the world" for 2014 thirty six entrants took on the extreme challenge with only ten racers reaching the KOH finish line. Six of the ten competitors that managed to finish the event chose Factory UTV UHMW products to protect their machines against a race course with infamous UTV devouring obstacles like Chocolate Thunder, Clawhammer and Wrecking Ball. Factory UTV Support racers dominated the podiums in both the Sportsmen and Pro classes taking the championships in both classes and runner up in the Pro Class. Congrats to Factory UTV support racers and Pro Class Champion Mitch Guthrie and runner up Branden Sims in their Polaris RZR XP 1000's and Blake Van De Loo and Bill Barnett turning very respectable 5th and 6th place finishes. FUTV Support racers John "Ducky" Duckworth took home the Sportsman Class Championship with Scott Barnett taking a 3rd place finish in their Polaris RZR XP 900's.
