What sort of utv engine would you need to cruise 4 adults at 50 mph?

Depends on what it was going in....pretty sure a rzrxp4 1000 will cruise with 4 adults at 50 no problem.....but if you tried to stab engine into some homemade mess it might not fair so well.

when pre-running, a stock XP1000 4seater will run 70 fairly easily with gear and 2 adults. a 4seater XPturbo on 32s with gear and 3 grown adults will run 75-80. the power isnt a huge deal, the gearing is the most important. pulling heavy weight and high load takes the proper gear ratio. you wouldnt want to take a 2 seater tall transmission and put it in a home made sand rail buggy thats 2500lbs and expect it to pull 4 adults easily. the belt will never take it.
