Chandler, AZ March 4, 2015 — Fresh from a podium position at the UTV World Championship, DragonFire-sponsored racer Lacrecia Beurrier is ready to cash in at The Mint 400. Since the inaugural event back in 1967, the 400-mile race through the Nevada desert has earned its reputation for being the toughest off-road race in North America. On March 14th, the DragonFire/AZ West/Polaris team not only has to conquer the course, they have to do it in a brand new vehicle and against some stout competition.

Although she has won The Mint 400 twice in the Sportsman Class, Lacrecia is stepping up for The Mint 400 this year, literally. The recent UTV World Championship was the first time Lacrecia had competed in the Unlimited UTV Pro Class. Taking third in a Polaris XP 1000 that didn't get finished until the night before the World Championship in Laughlin is a testament to both Lacrecia's talent and Rockstar Racing's car building prowess. Run by her husband/crew chief Eric Beurrier, Lake Havasu-based Rockstar built her previous Mint 400 winners, so they know what it takes to win the toughest race in America.

"How much is too much? We are gambling between unlimited horsepower and building a car that will hold together for 400 miles at race pace, but I'm betting Eric has found the right formula," says Lacrecia. "Finishing on the podium first time out was just what the doctor ordered," says the ER nurse-turned Pro UTV racer.

If you are headed out to Las Vegas for the race, plan on getting there early. At 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11th, Lacrecia will be part of the race vehicle procession that starts at South Point Casino and parades all the way to Fremont Street. The Mint 400 kickoff party starts at 4 p.m. at 10th and Fremont, followed by the Mint 400 Pit Crew Challenge Qualifying at 5 p.m. In addition to seeing Lacrecia's hot pink Polaris RZR in the procession, fans can get her autograph and some DragonFire swag at the Rugged Radios Meet & Greet at 4:30 p.m. on March 12th or at tech and contingency on Friday the 13th.

Thanks to all of Lacrecia's sponsors for helping her get back on the podium, including DragonFire, AZ West, Polaris Industries, Bell, BS Sand, Bulldog LED lights, CP-Carrillo, Dalton Industries, Elka, Gates, ITP, Lonestar Racing, Monster Seal, Mothers, Muzzy's, Raceline Wheels, Rockstar Customs, Royal Purple and Rugged Radios.
