This story appeared on the local Victor Valley newspaper website briefly today. The town of Apple Valley is looking to implement their plan to mitigate land in the Mojave Desert according to the WEMO. This was discussed with representatives from D37 and CORVA a few years ago, and word was "this is bad news". I hate making political comments in forums but since you started the thread....this is what happens when liberals run things. If people don't think that its liberals doing this, I suggest you research who these people are. Inform yourself and others before voting. If it were up to these people, they'd ban off roading in every form.
