On Wednesday April 8th, 2009, Dirt Alliance showed up to Oak Grove Center for Education and the Arts in Murrieta, CA. Oak Grove is a nonprofit 24-hour residential and educational treatment center that serves 76 children who live on campus and an additional 80-90 day students who attend there nonpublic school day program. Children and youth are admitted with a variety of psychological, social, emotional, behavioral, medical and neurological problems with concurrent behavioral difficulties, school problems, family dysfunction and alcohol or substance abuse. Many of the children have suffered physical and/or sexual abuse, other traumas or experienced many other social, emotional or behavioral challenges.

Dirt Alliance gave these kids a chance to take a break from there busy day of class to jump in the drivers seat of an Off-Road 1450 Prerunner, exposing them to a whole new world of options in the Off-Road scene and hooking the kids up with over $1000 in goodies + a chance to experience Off-Road Racing 1st hand at Round 3 of the Mickey Thompson/Kalgard Lubricants SXS Stadium Series on April 11th, 2009 presented by Skin Industries.

The kids mobbed the truck on display provided by James Holgun. They had many questions and one student commented “So Off-Road isn’t just for Bro’sâ€ÂÂ, James Holguin chuckles as he replied “Off-Road is for everyoneâ€ÂÂ.
