Cognito wins Honey Lake! 2013 WORCS Rnd 8
Lambert takes holeshot, fastest lap, and the win in the Production 850 class. Honey Lake was sweet for the Cognito Kawasaki Teryx and Lamberts bragging rights, but the course was bitterly rough, tight, and rocky.
It was a long drive to Milford, CA, which is about an hour above Reno, so preparedness and focus was key to making that drive worthwhile. From green flag to checkers, Lambert led every second of this race and laid down fastest lap by 17 seconds! The race for first was definitely tight toward the end, as Lambert broke a front axle mid race and had to ease up to keep the car together on this brutal course.
