Retired - And Still UTVUNderground Approved!!!!
here we come, just one problem, how do I pay for a second race car? At least all of our sponsors will get double exposure, even if its at just 10mph hahaha.

Joey, gonna need some fresh decals for the new ride.

That is awesome Doug!!!! HAHHA Class 11 is a young mans class!

Fixed it.

Im a bike guy, the only time Ill only drive the 11 is in into the trailer or garage, just like the SR1.

Gramps, our goal is the New Years Dash, at least I hope there is one, maybe we'll see you there.

A huge Thank You to Kent Conlon and Kacon Inc. this should be interesting.

Since this car wasnt in the budget I have an idea of how to spread the cost out and have some fun with it. Ill post more about that later, time to clean the garage.

more details on the class 11 please. i just watched DP8 and seen a couple buzzing a race course. looks like a cheap way to race. do those cars hold up to the abuse without alot of high dollar upgraded parts?

Oh I will be out there, but unfortunately not racing. $ is a little short this year, and the doc hasn't cleared me to get back into a race car. Never said anything about the rhino, so it doesn't count. But I will be camped out at Superstition for New Years, and head over to watch, like you said, assuming there is something to watch(fingers crossed). Good luck with the car

Simple...Stock bug, kick the windows out, weld in a cage, throw on some BFG's, strap on your kidney belt, and DO WORK SON!

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as cheap racing. We tried to budget last year while racing, and ended up spending double that. Everything gets expensive when you are racing to win, which is the point, right? We won a race that had 7 cars entered, and then DNF'd the next 2 for dumb little stuff that we "budgeted on". Then we got second on another, and then granaded the torsion housing on the rear of the car, which to fix right was $500 just for the housing, and a buddy of mine did all the fab work for free. The shocks need to be rebuilt every race, or at least checked, especially the rears, there is a lot of abuse that gets taken out in them. We had the fox "cheater" shocks on the car, and it rode great. We could get up to 69 mph in coyote wash if there was a long enough stretch. They are fun to drive, and a lot cheaper than about all the other classes, but still not "cheap". If you find the right deal you can buy a car for 6-10k depending on how well built it is, and go racing. A race rhino will run 17-?k. I loved it, still have the car hanging around, and hope I will be able to go back racing soon, but just not now. Hope that answers your question, and sorry if it was over kill, just giving you my overview of my year in a 11 car.
