Canidae TT tests new PCI Bluetooth Helmet

PCI Race Radios

Canidae Racing was kind enough to test out our new Bluetooth Helmet this weekend in Barstow. Add in a few Go Pro's and some amateur editing and here is a cool demo of a REALLY COOL new technology!

For those who haven't seen it yet, we install the bluetooth directly into the helmet. You can go the whole time "unplugged" and use strictly Bluetooth to communicate with your driver, or plug back into the hard wire and the Bluetooth willl automatically shut off. Disconnect from the intercom, Bluetooth automatically turns back on and connects within a fraction of a second. When you are unplugged, the communication is voice activated, just like you are still sitting in the truck. We also install a PTT on the blower fitting, enabling you to talk out on the two-way radio in the car!

The Canidae Trophy Truck has a PCI Comlink 10 intercom and the audio was recorded from the audio out on the intercom into the new GO PRO HD HERO 2, now with audio input. (also available at PCI!)

Pricing and Bluetooth info can be found on our website at this link: https://www.pciraceradios.com/Catego...tooth+Wireless

holy crap, that so bad ass!!! This would be SICK for King Of The Hammers or any rock crawling where your spotter is in and out of the vehicle the whole race!

Could this be used for say a fuel guy in the pits or say someone who is spotting in the pits? Is there a bluetooth headset as well??

OMG and finally audio in a Go Pro? I got wood! Sorry...

The audio for the Go Pro is so awesome. Makes it so much easier to record sound!

We actually have quite a few KOH racers with the Bluetooth installed in their helmets!
