10/19/12 El Cajon, CA – Sunday, October 20, 2012 is theseason finale of The Dirt Series and it is guaranteed to be the most excitingrace of the season. Michael Gonzalesdriving the Black Rhino #626 UTV sits 2<SUP>nd</SUP> in Championship Points inthe UTV Production 700 Class also sponsored by Black Rhino.

“The week leading up to this final round has been relaxed.Just the same routine getting the car prepped and race ready, I spent allafternoon today getting it all shined up for the final round. It’s a bittersweet feeling going into this final round. It’s been a great season for us andhate to see it end so soon. I'm hoping to bring home another victory this roundto be the cherry on top of my second place championship spot. The car has beenso good to me this year with the exception of the usual speed bumps you encounterracing.†Gonzales summed up. The final round will be GP Style,single moto round on the Amateur Off Road Course at Pala Raceway in Pala, CA. Driverswill be battling for position on the podium as well as getting as many finalpoints possible for the Championship and series prizes. After race completion,the Series will follow with the Banquet/BBQ/Awards/Presentation. To understand Michael’s passionyou have to know the history behind it. Michael’s sister and brother, Amandaand Jacob, were killed in a UTV accident in Glamis in November of 2007. Michael, just 11 years old at the time, waswitness to the accident and helped to pull his siblings out and watch asbystanders performed CPR until the medics arrived. The UTV he now racesis his siblings old Rhino.Gonzales, who was 2<SUP>nd</SUP>in Championship Points in the WORCS 700 Series in 2010, races the #626 in “The Dirt Series†UTV class.​
