Unfortunately, this type of motivation doesn't even register to them. Throughout their entire lives, society has trained them to be subordinate. Non-indigenous military will probably always been seen as temporary outsiders. Messages like these, however motivating to us, are interpreted differently by people within the Iraqi culture.

If the future of the Middle East rests on the shoulders of its own people, the past predicts that historical rule will continue.
