Yamaha 660 top speed with cdi

I have a 05 660 I just purchased. Supposedly it is stock with just a aftermarket cdi. The cdi is black rhino. I took it out for a spin and hit 50mph. Is this normal for a rhino with just cdi.

42 stock. 50 with cdi. And 57 with cdi and cvt mod. Yours is spot on.

Get the cvt mod. It's like putting in an overdrive. Your engine will that you!

My old 660 with a Dynatec CDI topped out at 48 with a Uni intake, so 50 is good

With the key in the off position, you need to hold down the two dash buttons on the right and then turn the key on but don't start it....I think thats right...might be the two left buttons.

I have black rhino cdi, JBS sheave, uni filter, and muzzy exhuast.. and my 660 does 59 according the the dash, and 58 according to gps..

here is a crappy cellphone video, passenger tried to get the dash and gps on video, but his pos iphone takes horrible videos...
