4th Annual Robert "Big Sexy" Kennedy Memorial Run - Ocotillo Wells, CA 1/20/2012
Well it has been four years since our group of close friends lost one of our close friends and brother Rob in an accident while he was working. Everyone came together to support both his family and each other, creating an amazing memorial for him in Ocotillo Wells, CA. that looks over where we have always camped with each other. Many people that never knew Rob have found the memorial and have signed a book that we have there. Some people that we have talked to when visiting say that they visit every time they are back in Ocotillo. It is nice to know that many others come to enjoy the spot and say hello also. Despite the circumstances it was a great weekend in the desert with good friends. The weather was great besides the massive dust storms in the afternoon on saturday. It's hard to believe that it has been 4 years already and never gets easier. Here are some photos of only part of our group celebrating our good buddy's life, "Big Sexy" that I thought I would share.
