2015 Moab Rally on the Rocks

Got some preliminary info from Rally on the Rocks! Who's been to this event? I've heard good things but never gotten the chance myself.

It's time to start thinking about the Rally again!

Discount Tire is back again for 2015. This is their 5th year with us, you guys ROCK!

We have been working with Tread Lightly and the BLM to do a trail restoration day again this year, watch for upcoming details.

I've been twice and it's a blast. Saw Joey and Rusty there last year so they can attest to how much fun it can be. Rides for all experience levels , great vendors, and great organization. I'm signing up again !

Is it possible to get to and from events driving your utv or do you need to trailer everything everywhere?

If you camp out close to the arena you can take the dirt roads over to Spanish trail arena for morning staging. From there you get a police escort to the trail head that you chose for the day. If you look on the website, the trails that have a (t) next to them require for you to trailer your vehicle to the trail head. We did it last year and are planning round two this year, it's a blast!

Here is a list of all the attending vendors this year. We have around $50k of "stuff" to raffle off this year. Sponsor/Vendor

There will be Winches from Warn, shocks from Walker Evans. Tires and wheels from ITP, STI, GMZ, Raceline, Douglas Wheels, EFX Performance Tires and Sedona.
Seats from PRP and the list goes on!
Did I mention Arctic Cat and Yamaha will be doing demo rides this year?

I was talked into going in 2013 and thank God I went. What a great time. I'm signed up again and look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. I'm bringing some cash to spread around for some new products!

Come on folks, who else is going? I'm already in the doghouse with my La Familia friends for them scheduling the Miller Jeep Trail ride on the same weekend......then changing the date for me. I need some backup here!

Went last year and I'm going to be there a couple days early this year so I can get in some extra riding before the Rally gets started. Discount Tires does a bang up job and the raffles are hugh. Great time!!!!!!

Quick question. in past years there has been a police escort of some kind that allows you to not trailer your UTV to the trail head and just drive it there. I just went to Moab a few weeks ago and there was UTVs driving on the streets everywhere and the cops were doing nothing. This lead me to believe that UTVs are street legal in Moab now. Is this true?

Yes, Any Street legal UTV in other states are legal in Utah .
