Katech developed and built this V4 for Motus. Cool engine with a ridiculous price tag. At $10,500 for the engine, harness & ECU I don't see to many buying this engine platform.

I know I wish it was more affordable, I mean you can get an LS1 for what like 4500? with 350hp probably? It would make for some really cool projects though. I was thinking it would be cool to use the 1800cc goldwing motor, but I don't think you can really buy that or anything similar as a crate engine. and buying a whole bike is still expensive, and a hassle

you can send it to a few shops and be almost done with a Z1 swap for $11,000 and be able to run anything from 180-250hp.

the motor moves around quite a bit less than the stock XP1000 engine does. you should see how much the stock XP engine bounces around in the frame. it will blow your mind!

They are talking about a turnkey kit for 10-13k. This is a crate motor. 180hp is stock without any aftermarket tuning. They have a supercharged prototype that makes 230hp in a show bike. I bet this motor built to the hilt could make 400hp easy. Stay Tuned!

Nate what was the top speed you saw at the sand drags? everybody else tops out around 80 on the rev limiter. looks like you were 90+ before you shut it down

I would say upper 80's Adam. We saw the 11,500 rev limiter at the end of 4th a few runs, and others we would click into 5th...
