Will IRC be required for Silver State?

Yes you will have to run the tracker. $275 to lease it. Don't know what the install kit or the bracket cost.

better make sure you get the irc back to them after the race or they charge you another $275. they really got you by the balls. if it is your first bitd race plan on spending $600 bucks. my first bitd race was at ss300 2009 and to find that out after driving all the way there and not having planned for the funds sucks big time.

Amos...you should definately take him up on this. As long as the wires, antennas and bracket is there, you will score price wise. And if you are missing something, just go up to the IRC trailer and typically they will give you a power cable or stray anteena!

Also as a FYI, we 'ute dudes' don't need to use the irc tracker every race...only the races where we are on course with the cars and trucks. So we only need a transponder at Parker and BWGP, require the tracker at SS300, V2R, BWDC and Henderson.

last year we were not required to run a tracker at Henderson because we ran with the bikes and quads early morning. Also at the BWDC they gave us a brake because we only did two laps each day if I remember correctly.

They may have given you a 'brake' but they gave me a 'break.'

They must have givem me a brake at Parker. Haha
