which offset?

what up guys...

im currently running 1 3/4" spacers on the truggy stock se wheels...

what wheel offset would i need to replicate this in a wheel w/o the spacers??

im lookin at the STI x40 wheels

you can either get 5+2 or a 2+5 wide. offset..?

anyone know how wide the 2+5 wide offset is equivalent too?

ima dummy at this so please advise..
 
The optimal set up for stock suspension is 2+5 offset in the rear and 5+2 in the front....

If you plan on getting a LT Kit someday then it is best to get 5+2 offset on all 4 corners then add 2" (Your 1.75") will work fine) spacers to the rear only. Then when you get your LT Kit you get rid of the spacers and you dont have to buy new wheels.....

With stock wheels I would not run larger than a 1" spacer in the front.... The risk of damage does way up but the payoff is very minimal. In the rear you can go up to a 2" spacer.

Here is a diagram that Chandler made back in the day. It will help you understand the offset. As you can see the 2+5 offset is the deep look....
