I had only 1 in Dog Beers
Just ordered a new Chevy 4x4.
Loaded Crew Cab. Every option except the snow plow.

We've been pulling our 24' utility trailer and boat with the wifes Toyota pre-runner and it just barely passed muster.
We were legal, but just by a paint job.
Wife started gripe-ing about the power, comfort, sound system, crappy MPG, ride, noise and brakes, so that was it.

The 403 HP / 417 ft lb torque 6.2 GM motor/six speed auto was just too nice to pass up. As long as we're burning lots of fuel,, why not?

The wife should love kicking this rig in the ass.

I love all trucks. Never been a brand loyal kinda person. Dodge, Ford, GM,Tundra, never understood the pissing contests over brands, they are all great IMHO and we got the loaded Chevy for what we felt was a terrific price,, so we jumped.

What surprised us were hardly any dealers responded to our online price requests.
In fact,, ones that did they were $4K to $8K higher in price.
Most dealers seem to just want to sell from dealer stock. Few, especially Dodge dealers want to order from the factory for you.

Just walked in cold to yet another dealers sales managers office and they coughed up a great deal.

Good for you. Enjoy it.
I hear the same story from others out there testing the market and visiting the dealerships...it is almost like they don't expect to sell, so they ain't really trying, other than when the sucker comes through the door every now and then and doesn't balk at the sticker and the dealer mark up; or whatever other game they can play to get as deep in yer wallet as they can.
