Now that we have our first event of the series under our belt, we start with the next BIG ONE, MARCH 28 with the running of the PURE "150" - One hundred-fifty-miles-plus of the most diverse desert anywhere. We are fortunate to have a "little bit" of everything in the desert of Cal-City, to give everyone a taste of everything from silt beds, rocky hills, fast two-rail trails and lots of whoops and rocks. What's nice aboput it is that we start and finish at our own place; Alta Vista Ranch, which has plenty of free parking for competitors and crews.
This next race is 150-miles plus of insanely diverse terrain. So it's yours if you want to make the best UTV Series Off-Road Desert Series in the country. This is where you can really prove and/or hone your driving skills and more importantly see what your car can do. For your sponsors, our Series is the "Best Possible Test," according to one of our sponsors.
The 2015 PURE UTV OFF-ROAD DESERT SERIES is where you get treated as the main feature, not an after-thought by others who just want your entry. Sponsors such as Lawrence Motorsports/Equipment, PCI, Can-Am, Rugged Radios, LazerStar, SUNOCO, BP Graphics, FXF Films and others.
Check out the entry fees to see how much money we are making out of you.
One race down, five to go, including two in Ensenada. The best 5 out of the six events in the series count for Class and Overall Points Championships. So if you missed the first event, you are still in the game. Come on down to Cal-City and the PURE UTV Series.
Congratulations to Michael Stackpoole, Nick Nelson and Bill Diesel, for the unofficial top three finishers in the PURE "125."

Results are posted, they are unofficial for the next ten days so we'll have time to check the back-checks, over-checks, roaming checks and tracking units. To be fair, we could say unless someone complaints about someone else cheating the race, we don't have to waste time.
However, we feel it is not time wasted. We must make sure that everyone stay within the marked course, hit every check and most importantly, stay within the speed limits inside the Main Pits. Once we have done all the checking we are haopoy to award trophies and paybacks.
Congratulations to Bradley Howe and Cain Smead for the unofficial Overall in tghe race. They completed the four laps in a time of 3:07.52 - Yeah, it was fast 150 miles. Notable was also Andrew Buck (first time radcing in the series), who posted the unofficial fastest lap: 00:45:05 and also captured the third Overall and third in the Pro 1000 class.

Next one is the PUNTA BANDA PURE "125" in Ensenada, Baja California. This is by far the most epic racecourse we've ever laid out and it is one that has never been used by anyone before. You've got to check it out: May 16, 2015. For more details go to: www.averacing.com

Below are a few shots from the "drone" we used in Cal City. Yes, drones are allowed. We will also have the video soon.15-P150-Drone-Shots-Mar29-3.jpg 15-P150-Drone-Shots-Mar29-2.jpg 15-P150-Drone-Shots-Mar29-1.jpg
