Lou, for those of us who haven't raced before, I am reading the following in the rules/application. We will be running the 850-spt class.

We need:

  1. a Cal City OHV license $15
  2. an ISA license $15
  3. $75 entry fee
$105.00 aprox.

Is there anything else I am missing?

Thanks!!!

Dan ...

If you just wish to get a weekend license for Cal City and for the ISA it is only $5.00 for each. So your total will be reduced by $20.
Other than that, nothing else that I can see.

If you were to fax your entry in today, before 12 p.m. Midnight at the toll free # 877.8942.3052 as art of BLACK FRIDAY promotions you get an additional discount off your entry or $10, so that a bit more savings.

Lou

And it's estimated that this past weekend (Thanksgiving weekend) Cal City hosted just about 100,000 visitors in the 208 square miles of desert. Now, tell us where else you can find that any people enjoying one area without being hasseled...Just saying. Lou

Wait until you see what we have for you. Nothing like it before this year or in the past. It's been years and this one is even better. Why?

Start: On wide, paved winding street.
Hard left into: The "money pit"
First three miles: Fast but with "gatchas" on semi-graded roads
Mile 4 to 6: Whoops, sand, silt, dust...Jejeje!
Mile 6 to 12: Like it used to be, pucker-bush-to-pucker-bush all inside our own private land-like the "Old days." Race from ribbon-to-ribbon, from arrow-to-arrow.
RM12-to the finish: Around the perimeter of the airport, adjacent to the private jet "extreme salvage yard" (you won't believe it), and...
Then, after 13.6 miles, you're back for another lap.
Fuel pit only before start/finish.

60 acres of private parking, thanks to Norm Hill Aviation. No fee charged this year, first-come-first-serve basis.
Saturday races: Check in Friday (Dec 20) between Noon and 8 p.m.
Sunday race: Check-in Friday or Saturday (21), between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
NO CHECK-IN ON SUNDAY unless you want to pay that extra $50.
Event T-s = $15 (Reg $25)
AVE T's = $15 (Reg $25)
Restaurant within walking distance of start/finish (Foxy's). Great food, great people. You can view jets taking off or part of the course.
Bring the family.
