We had a blast,it was our first race We decided Saturday night to go for it, so we came pretty unprepared. We were on the second line for the start, so we ended up heavy in the mix around the first couple corners. Chuck(driver) was kickin azz, at the restart we were sitting around 20th, thru the next few laps he was moving up steadly, by end of the second lap we were out of tearoffs and I was doing goggle duty. By the end of lap 4, the goggles were on the floor covered inside and out. I think it was about half way around on lap 6 that we decided to call it a day, the temp. guage had been buried for over two laps we were both blind. Now comes the clean up and to see what damage was done, then prepare our selfs for another one.
