New Turbo Build

New Turbo Car.jpg We are having Jimco build us a new turbo car. We have made a lot of changes to this car from things we learned on the last one. This car should be really bad ass with a lot of never see before parts. I can't wait to drive it at the UTV World Championship race. Faster, lighter, and lower.

Nice to see a second Jimco build. What will happen with the first car? Keep it and race in both classes, you in the Turbo & Terry in the N/A class? What suspension are you going with on the new car? I hope 32's?

We are going with full Jimco suspension components on Both cars. The naturally aspirated car my wife Kristen will be driving at the UTV world championship race and mint 400. For now both cars will be sticking with 30 inch tires.

from the looks of it, and untill its closer to being done it will be hard to tell, but it looks like the seats are like 16" further back than stock and depending on the fuel cell placement they are likely going for a much broader polar moment than what the stock configuration will allow. this gives them the ability to have a car that will sit flatter in the huge whoops more like a trophy truck rather than getting bobbed all around.

which by the looks of it, and how well the last car Jimco built worked, i bet this one is going to be absolutely insanely fast. i am sure it has a lot more going into it rather than just your standard "slap a cage on it and go racing" build.

If Matlock wasn't already as badass as they come, he goes and builds a second JIMCO car that undoubtedly will be quicker.....Must be nice, must have bought that winning powerball ticket ;) All kidding aside, it's awesome to see the level of builds and the technology that is going into these cars!!!!

Yeah we moved the seats back even further. And we moved the fuel cell a lot further back as well. Jimco spent a lot of time lowering the CG and moving the wait back towards the rear axles. This car is set up for high speed rough desert racing.

Adam you will get a front row seat to see how well it works when you tune the clutch. Just don't puke this time ;-)
